Role Description

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support our Operations department and Contract Managers with a variety of administrative tasks,

Key Responsibilities:

      • Provide general administrative support, including handling phone calls and management of Contracts Managers mailbox
      • Management of the daily reports, track, chase and report on any issues to the Site Operations teams to resolve (e.g. Sweeper with no auto braking sent to site, Dumper with no VCAS, Daily Job Briefing not completed)
      • Administer the creation of Job Packs for Supervisors in advance
      • Develop and manage a visual tracker t to record site issues and create reporting mechanism
      • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and other relevant records
      • Facilitate effective communication between internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
      • Administer and manage operational client inductions
      • Facilitate the regional meetings, scheduling dates, booking meeting rooms, creation of agenda and reporting on actions
      • Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, documents
      • Manage and arrange the hire and off hire of all small tools
      • Liaise with Supply Chian Partners as required
      • Providing administrative support to other departments or projects as needed.

      • Good time management with the ability to be flexible in your approach to work

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Skills:

  • Full driving license
  • Experienced in Asphalt technology.
  • Experience of pavement design and construction
  • Knowledge of testing methods of asphalt and cement bound granular material
  • Familiar with SHW, BS EN, ISO 17025 and other relevant standards
  • Experience of dispute resolution
  • Strong IT and report writing skills. Fully proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
