Role Description

 

We have an opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our growing business and lead surfacing projects within our South region ensuring that work is completed on time, to clients satisfaction and within its budget.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage efficient project programmes that meet with client expectations and ensure optimal utilisation of all labour that is beneficial to South Region while maintaining the forecast margin for each.
    • Planning project resources including plant, labour and materials as well as agreeing any site layout and welfare facilities
    • Forward planning of works to remove peaks and troughs for production
    • Managing operational issues raised by client, attending meetings to discuss defects where required.
    • Collecting and collating monthly material forecasting ensuring management of maximum material outputs
    • Developing and maintaining key client relationship serving as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction
    • Identify lost and non-active clients and develop relationships for future work opportunities
    • Working closely with the QS to ensure the team maximise financial returns on all aspects of the contract taking steps to minimise risk, protect commercial interests and maximise profit
    • Management of operational employees ensuring the continuous development of skills by understanding training needs analysis
    • Writing health and safety plans, method statements and risk assessments, ensuring that all sites have the appropriate documentation
    • Carry out site inspections and audits in line with company requirements.
