We are delighted to announce some very exciting changes within Toppesfield, which will ensure that we continue our rapid growth rate by working even closer with our strategic clients, regionalising our business, further improving our commercial performance; all of this being led by a strong management team. This will involve a number of role changes which are detailed below.
Highways Director – Craig Germeney:
Craig Germeney, having started as a Contracts Manager in 2007, is now stepping away from his role in operations to become Highways Director. This will entail developing much closer strategic links and relationships with Highways England as well as the key main contractors. By having a better understanding of the major clients and their project needs we will be in a stronghold position to secure our fair share of this huge market.
Regional Director, West – Matt Riley:
Matt Riley, who has only been with us since June 2015, has been running the West Region which includes Midlands and the North. Matt has quickly proven to be a major asset to the business and we welcome him to the senior management team.
Sales Director – George Pryor:
George Pryor has been with Toppesfield since January 2015 and has completely transformed the sales function. Through his endeavours, and the team he has recruited, we have now quadrupled general monthly sales to over £4M per month. During this time we have opened our London hub which houses our sales team of eight.
Commercial Director – Bill Pryor:
The final new member of the senior team is Bill Pryor who joined us straight from Warwick University after he successfully completed his Maths degree. Starting in sales he then switched into the Commercial/Quantity Surveying arena. Bill has become our ‘go to’ commercial man alongside building a team of bright and talented trainee QS’s (average age of 21!).
