We’ve been busy wrapping presents these past few days!
Money raised from ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ has been used to help Ipswich Hospital’s Christmas Giving Tree, a Christmas appeal to collect gifts for patients and vulnerable local people.
98 presents are now at the hospital which will be handed out to patients of all ages including adults, teenagers, pre-school and school age children, infants and babies. In addition, we also purchased gifts from the charity’s community gift list to help those in need.
Kate Ashton, head of the Ipswich Hospital Charity, said: ‘We were delighted and overwhelmed by the amazing donation of gifts from Toppesfield. Thank you so much to all the staff at Toppesfield who did so much. This will make a real difference to patients who need to stay in hospital over Christmas and those doing it tough in our local community over the festive period. Thank you to Toppesfield for supporting Ipswich Hospital Charity by giving so much.’
