The Project
Harris Business Park is at the junction of three major rail links and is within a short distance of Ipswich town centre, benefiting from easy access to the A12, M25 and the A14. The warehouse is set to bring £30 million into the local economy as well as creating over 80 new jobs. The site needed new surrounding infrastructure, footpaths, and car parks.
Our Work
Toppesfield were contracted to deliver the footpaths surrounding the new warehouse and the two car parks. Delivering over 2,500 tonnes of base, binder, and surface course, Toppesfield were able to deliver works on day and night shifts to fit around the client’s schedule, making sure that the construction of the new warehouse stayed to schedule. With the excellent delivery of the original works still in progress, the client increased the package to include the delivery of trenches and access road.
