The Project
The former 13-acre British Army Barracks, located in the City of Westminster, was sold in 2007 to Qatari Diar for the construction of a private residential development. Toppesfield were contracted by their long-standing client BLU-3 to surface the new entrance road to the £3 Billion development. Due to the notoriety and prestige of the luxury development, the clients opted for a silver granite chip to be laid.
Our Work
Working with restricted space, Toppesfield laid 650 tonnes of Base, Binder and HRA surface course, with silver granite Ulticolour chips. Toppesfield worked in close collaboration with BLU-3 to manage the fluctuating schedule. Due to Toppesfield’s vast resources, a team of skilled operative were able to be mobilised at short notice for each of the 3 visits.
