Role description

Due to company growth, we are recruiting for a payroll administrator to support our Payroll Manager with the management of our payroll processes. You will provide accurate, timely and efficient production of both our weekly and monthly payroll and act as the primary point of contact for payroll queries.

Job Description


  • Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
  • Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review
  • Calculate any payments due to colleagues manually if required, including but not limited to occupational Sick Pay and SSP, annual holiday entitlement and pay, termination payments, new starters payments and any ad hoc payroll input
  • Undertake reconciliations of specific pay elements/deductions
  • Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles
  • Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll related matter
  • Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters
  • Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data
